03 Painting in oils with Rachel Milne

Learn about structure, tone, colour and composition. Using the everyday as inspiration and the use of strong light, learn basic drawing and painting techniques that will allow you to tackle any subject with confidence taking home a finished painting on canvas, a limited pallet portrait study, several colour studies, tonal studies and structural drawing.
Rachel Milne is a figurative painter who started out as a set painter, working in film and TV in the UK. Since moving to Australia, Rachel has won the Singleton Portrait Prize and has been accepted as a finalist for several other prizes and is represented by Sydney Gallery, King Street on William. Rachel is very passionate about her subject matter and enjoys the challenge of putting that across to her students.
