Sturt Gallery presents 'Music to My Eyes' - Photographs by Chris Donaldson

Southern Highlands based photographer and musician Chris Donaldson explores the ‘presence’ of famous musicians past and present through portraits and landscapes. The exhibition will be opened by artist Ben Quilty on Sunday 30 July at 11am (all welcome) and continues to 17 September.

A free concert to accompany this exhibition will be held in Cooper Hall at Frensham on Saturday 12 August. The concert will include original compositions by Elena Kats-Chernin, Ann Carr-Boyd, May Howlett, Kjell Goyer & Chris Donaldson and will include performances by Debbie Angus, Lisa Kawai, Michael Spencer & Christine Tilley.

‘Pizza and Plate’ – Sunday 24 September

Sturt’s historic pottery will be open for people to visit and have the opportunity to purchase handmade ceramics in a fundraising event hosted by Friends of Sturt and Sturt Pottery students. All purchased plates come with a serving of piping hot Pizza straight from our wood-fired ovens. Be prompt – limited number of plates for sale!
